I met Florence in Morocco. She was my daughter's elementary school teacher. I remember her as a person who listens to children and parents, and who is very sensitive to the needs of her young students. One of Florence's great qualities is that she knows how to adapt her pedagogy to the needs of each child.

She is also the initiator of a project for education and learning of the French language, a free school for underprivileged children, created with the help of volunteer teachers, proof once again of her generosity and love for her teaching profession.

Florence accompanied our daughter Héloïse who had lost confidence in herself and could no longer progress at school. She knew how to adapt by proposing learning methods that corresponded to her, based on visuals, movement and games. I can say without reservation that she created a trigger that allowed him to take pleasure in learning and become a schoolgirl.

A big thank you to Florence for seeing my daughter. I was an anxious mother concerning my daughter, she had a big delay in language. She reassured me that indeed Sixtine was taking her time but that in her head everything was working perfectly. Sixtine is now seven years old, she was followed and is followed by a speech therapist. The teacher told me that she has now caught up with everything. Thank you for calming me down, which allowed me to take more time with Sixtine while being calm and serene.

When I was choosing my direction in high school, Florence helped me discern. After many discussions and guided reflections, she understood what I was looking for and directed me towards a field of study that corresponded perfectly to me. I am now in my second year of college and am confident about my future.

The COVID period was a difficult time for our family.  Neither of our two kids were able to attend school and our 4-year-old daughter was showing signs of withdrawal. Our son has been diagnosed with ADHD and it was a real struggle keeping him seated and engaged with the transaction to online classes that went on for over a year.  His formal learning simply stalled.

During this time Florence provided outstanding support for our children and seemed to crack the code for getting them reengaged and developing. Our children’s unique challenges notwithstanding, Florence accepted our children just the way they were and interacted and worked with them showing love and respect. She had experience in working with students with various problems, and she was very patient. She got to know and understand each of our children individually and worked to help them learn in the way she saw fit, working with what she had.

Teaching requires so many positive qualities around care, compassion, patience, and commitment. Florence has all these qualities in abundance.

With her guidance, our daughter flipped from disinterested into a super interested eager learner, and our son has quickly developed into a confident and capable reader. Our children’s literacy has developed considerably under her care. Our daughter was coming home every day telling us new words she learned in French, fun things she did from studying and cooking to playing music. She started showing us how she was writing English letters, and some simple words. Florence play-based learning approach is amazing, and she is excellent early education teacher.

We are fully aware of the effort Florence put into our son. Florence went above and beyond - by finding books for our son on the subject he was interested in and instilling the discipline with periods dedicated to reading and periods for breaks. Her expertise in teaching has put our minds at ease and her methods proved successful.

Florence’s patience and commitment to supporting our children has truly meant a lot to our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being such an important part in our children’s development and for instilling the love of learning in them.
